If you are waiting for the HTC Kaiser in US, it is now a step closer to you with the approval from FCC last week.
The HTC Kaiser is the next upcoming Windows Mobile pocket pc phone from HTC. First reported in March this year, the pocket pc phone supports HSDPA, WiFi, Bluetooth and the GSM Quadband network. The FCC documents revealed more info on the Kaiser variants.
The HTC Kaiser 100 will not have a camera module, while the HTC Kaiser 110 has a 3 megapixel camera at the back. HTC Kaiser 120 will also come with the 3 megapixel camera, and it has another VGA camera at the front for video calls.

„Samsung Electronics“ pranešė, kad po kelių savaičių pasirodysiantis telefonas „SCH-B750“ bus optimizuotas filmavimo mobiliuoju entuziastams. Telefone esanti programinė įranga leis tiesiai telefone tvarkyti nufilmuotus vaizdus ir juos patalpinti tokiose svetainėse kaip „YouTube“. Tai jau antrasis naujas prietaisas per keletą savaičių, skirtas filmuoti ir talpinti klipus internete. Praėjusią savaitę „Casio“ rinkai pristatė skaitmeninį fotoaparatą su „YouTube“ filmavimo režimu.
Naujasis „Samsung“ modelis filmuoja CIF rezoliucijos (352 x 288 px) vaizdus ir suteikia galimybę, pavyzdžiui, pridėti prierašus ar foninę muziką nufilmuotoje medžiagoje. Po to keliais mygtukų spustelėjimais galima patobulintą klipuką perkelti į internetą.
Telefone įmontuota trijų megapikselių kamera, jis taip pat pritaikytas mobiliajai skaitmeninei televizijai. Kol kas „Samsung“ ketina „SCH-B750“ platinti tik Pietų Korėjoje. Kada šis telefono modelis pasirodys Europoje, bendrovės atstovai nekomentuoja. Numatoma modelio kaina – 655 doleriai (1625 litai).

Jau greitai bevielis interneto ryšys leis ne tik patogiai naršyti po mėgiamas svetaines, bet ir nebrangiai skambinti į mobiliojo ryšio operatorių tinklus. Mobilieji telefonai su „nelicencijuotos nobiliosios prieigos“ (angl. „Unlicensed Mobile Access” - UMA) technologija pasirodys šių metų rugpjūtį.
UMA leidžia skambučius tarp bevielio interneto ir mobiliojo ryšio operatorių tinklų. Tokio tipo skambučiai bus pigesni nei įprastiniai, be to ženkliai pagerins susisiekimą kur mobiliojo ryšio nėra.
Pirmieji UMA technologija bus aprūpinti „BlackBerry 8820“, „Nokia 6086“ ir „Samsung T409“ mobilieji telefonai. Juos mobiliojo ryšio operatoriai AT&T bei „T – Mobile“ JAV platinti pradės rugpjūtį. Tiksli UMA telefonų kaina neskelbiama. Mėnesinė UMA paslaugos kaina AT&T vartotojams kainuos 10 JAV dolerių.

Švedijos kompanijos “Tele2″ ketvirčio pelnas viršijo prognozes
Visoje Europoje veikianti Švedijos telekomunikacijų bendrovė “Tele2″ pranešė gavusi pelną, kuris viršijo analitikų lūkesčius. Bendrovė skelbia, kad ketina padidinti pelno maržas ir kad jos verslas Rusijoje įsitvirtina.
Antrąjį šių metų ketvirtį, palyginti su tuo pačiu laikotarpiu prieš metus, “Tele2″ pelnas, neatskaičius palūkanų, mokesčių, nuvertėjimo ir amortizacijos (EBITDA), šoktelėjo 40 proc. nuo 1,237 mln. iki 1,737 mln. Švedijos kronų (261 mln. JAV dolerių).
“Reuters” apklausti analitikai vidutiniškai prognozavo, kad EBITDA sieks 1,08 mlrd. kronų.
Grynasis pelnas šių metų antrąjį ketvirtį sudarė 108 mln. kronų, palyginti su 136 mln. kronų prieš metus tuo pačiu laikotarpiu.
Kompanijos pajamos lyginamuoju laikotarpiu padidėjo 6 proc. nuo 12,386 mln. iki 13,110 mln. kronų. Analitikai prognozavo 12,9 mlrd. kronų pajamas.

Sony Ericsson has just launched two mini sites dedicated to the mentioned two devices, giving users an ability to explore them in a Flashy environment.
You can rotate each of these or quickly go through their features. The nice mini sites use Sony Ericsson’s vibrant colors and are really pleasant for eyes. It’s not like having one in your hand, but it’s the next best thing. Here are the links to P1i and T650i mini sites. source:intomobile

Not that we'd promote the illegal downloading of any sort of copyrighted software, music or video, but uTorrent has announced that there is mobile version of their lightweight BT client being released tomorrow (Wed 25th July 2007). TorrentFreak is suggesting that this will work in a very similar way to their web front in that you can control the client on your PC from your mobile phone. The only difference is that this is a client, not a web front.

It is a day off since some hot information about Samsung G800 leaked and now we face the next rumored Samsung phone - the bar-shaped Samsung i550. It is supposed to be a GPS-enabled smartphone, running on Symbian OS S60 UI.
The Samsung i550 is a fresh reinforcement to the high-end smartphone portfolio of the company. Samsung i550 will be the first Samsung GPS-enabled smartphone, sporting 3G and HSDPA (3.6 Mbps). The 3.2 megapixel camera will make technology freaks really consider its purchase. It is also worth mentioning that this will be the first bar-shaped Symbian smartphone of the South Korean company.
The Samsung i550 will also features dedicated keys for GPS, music player and internet browser. Other specifications include a 2.6″ display, FM radio with a 3.5 mm jack, 128 MB RAM, microSD card slot and microUSB.
All this functionality is packed into surprisingly small dimensions of 115 x 53 x 13.8 mm.
At this stage no information regarding its availability and pricing is available.

Another high-end camera phone from Samsung seems to be on the way out, as some unofficial information has leaked. The Samsung G800 slider has a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with 3x optical zoom and is seamlessly the successor of Samsung G600, which was recently announced.
Samsung G800 is recognizable for its stylish design and better camera integration with dedicated camera button and xenon flash. The back of the phone includes elements, inherent to advanced camera bodies - a specific leather-like cover ensuring better grip, as well as lens and a xenon flash comfortably covered with a stylish lens lid. The front panel grasps our attention with its large display. The form factor is easily identifiable as a slider, but it might as well offer a touch-based user interface and no hardware keypad.
Samsung G800
Other features of the Samsung G800 include Bluetooth, USB support, 3G or HSDPA connectivity and stereo speakers. We are somewhat uncertain about the presence of 3G support, since most of the Samsung 3G-enabled handset come out under the Z-series. As of yet, no information is available on the video recording capabilities of the device.
Although optical zoom enabled phones are not something new on the market as we have already witnessed the coming to light of Nokia N93, Nokia N93i, Sharp 902, Sharp 903 and Sharp 904, the Samsung G800 looks like quickly becoming a common favourite when it hits the shelves. This is expected to happen in the early months of 2008.
